In this piece I want to highlight the contrast of fibres. Rustic silk and linen, merino wool mixed with silk, smooth, spun fine and with a hardly invariable thickness. They sit next to a thick, jegged hand spun silk that looks coarse and rough. It’s the same weave but it looks very different depending on the yarn you work it with.
