Piedras (stones) is the discovery of living close to nature, learning from the landscape, observing my environment differently. Piedras is strolling with my dogs, walking a recurrent path, giving the colours to these threads, these pattern’s subtlety. Piedras is the summary of my life in a small village in Crete.

The weft in this piece has been hand dyed with natural dyes. These dyes are NOT stains, only permanent pigments have been used.
60% Linen
40% CottonDyes brown and yellow: walnut husks, pomegranate and onion skins.

Wash by hand in cold or warm water
Do not twist when draining
Dry flat, no hanging
Iron on medium temperature when it’s humid or with steam
